Innovalia Metrology participates in Beijing Olympics
The silver winning Olympic boat of Iker Martinez and Xabi Fernandez in the 49er class, was laboriously measured by Innovalia Metrology.
The two medallists know that accuracy is essential in this type of sailing, so they looked for the experience of the Metrological Unity of Innovalia to make the measurement of their boat.

Innovalia Metrology at CIMES
The 9th International Exhibition of China Machine Tool (CIMES), has become an important platform in the field of metrology in the Chinese market. Therefore, from the 9th until the 13th of October, Innovalia Metrology will attend this biannual fair held in Beijing since 1992, which brings together the most international important signatures. At the Innovalia Metrology booth, attendees are able to see the latest developments in non- contact technology applied on the CMM Vulkan system. This system runs measurement programs at high speed from metrology standardized software, and gets the maximum performance out of the optical sensor “Optiscan”.
Innovalia Metrology provides high added value in exclusive and proprietary technology in the Chinese market, one of the most competitive in the world.
Innovalia Metrology in the Spanish-German Automobile Congress
Innovalia Metrology participates as a unique representative of the Industrial Dimensional Metrology sector in the 9th Spanish-German Automobile Congress, held in Barcelona on 12th and 13th June 2008. The congress offers the industry experts the opportunity to learn about new trends and developments.
The second edition celebrated in Barcelona counts on the exclusive attendance of 150 managers of the European industry, including Jesus María de la Maza, president of Innovalia group.
One of the main attractions of this edition is the meeting scheduled on Friday with Moroccan Association for Business and the Automotive Industry (AMICA). Its geographic proximity offers the Spanish suppliers a unique opportunity to display their extensive experience in their field and establish a base for dialogue for future collaborations.
Among the content of the congress will be analysed trends in design from the point of view of manufacturers like Nissan and General Motors, as well as strategies for a global presence or aspects as far as technology and innovation will be presented.

A very satisfactory result at FIMAQH 2008
Innovalia Metrology has participated in the International Machine Tool Fair (FIMAQH) held in Buenos Aires (Argentina) from the 28th of May to the first of June 2008.
300 national and international exhibiting companies has participated with last generation products and services. Innovalia Metrology has attended the fair with the aim of expanding and strengthening its presence in the american continent.
The exhibition received in its first three days over 20,000 visitors, mostly foreigners. Countries like Brazil, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Venezuela, Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador approached FIMAQH to know more about technology applied to industrial production.
Visitors have been able to see at the Innovalia Metrology booth the Sparkscan measurement system, a video explaining metrology applications services, new calibration tools for the maintenance of CMM and specific applications such as the OPTISCAN system, developed by Innovalia Metrology.
Innovalia Metrology presented its latest applications at the Control
Fair, in Stuttgart 2008
Innovalia Metrology presented its latest offerings in metrology, calibration
and services in Stuttgart-2008. This fair is considered as the most important
fair in Europe for the dimensional metrology sector.
During one week, Innovalia Metrology has shown three-dimensional optical measurement
systems with OptiScan sensors (Vulkan, RobotScan and MovilScan). Digitalisation
OptiScan sensors are installed to reduce measurement times and increase the
productivity of the dimensional control processes. What stands out is their
ease of use and their sensitivity in measuring all kinds of materials, including
carbon fibre and machined pieces.
Attendees have had the opportunity to see live the measurement of various work
pieces such as a rotor, the rib of a car bonnet and a slab of composite.
